TERMS of SERVICE
Caring for your pet is a significant responsibility. These policies are established to ensure the highest standards of safety and clarity for you, your pet and Snoodlebugs Pet Care.
Below is a copy of our key guidelines. Upon moving forward, you will receive a link to electronically sign the full Terms of Service. This must be completed prior to our Initial Consultation & Assessment. My priority is ensuring your pet remains safe, settled, and loved in the comfort of their home.
-SERVICE & PET CARE-
Snoodlebugs is not responsible for the sickness, injury, escape, loss, accident, or death of a pet unless caused through direct negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Snoodlebugs.
Outdoor Safety & Environment: Snoodlebugs is unable to provide services for fully outdoor animals or pets left outside for extensive periods during extreme temperatures or forecast severe weather.
Yard & Gate Security: Services for pets using a free access doggy door are only provided if the yard is secured by a physical fence. If outdoor gates are found unlocked, Snoodlebugs may use a lock or security device to secure the area during the service period; this device will then be removed upon departure. If no physical fence exists, dogs will be managed exclusively on leashes or long lines. For the safety of the pet, retractable leashes are not allowed for use during any Snoodlebugs service.
Electronic Collars: For the safety and emotional well-being of the pet, electric or "shock" collars will be removed for the duration of the visit to reduce stress and anxiety, which can often be triggered by these devices. This prevents risk of injury and unexpected escapes caused by fear-responses. For any time spent outside or on a leash, the shock collar will be replaced with a standard flat collar or harness provided by the owner. If proper secondary equipment is unavailable, Snoodlebugs will use our own safe, force-free walking gear to guarantee secure, slip-proof handling experience.
Fear Free® Handling & Bite Prevention: The Client agrees to allow Snoodlebugs to use necessary and harmless handling techniques and tools (e.g., secure leashes, muzzles, or towel wraps) for the safe delivery of services. These tools are used to reduce stress and prevent bite incidents. If Snoodlebugs determines that physical handling causes the pet excessive distress or poses a safety risk, the service may be paused. In such cases, alternative solutions will be discussed, such as a more gradual onboarding process or several "Client-present" sessions.
Emergency Care & Veterinary Release: In the event of a pet medical emergency, Snoodlebugs will first attempt to contact the Client, followed by one or both of their designated Emergency Pet Guardians. If no one can be reached, Snoodlebugs is authorized to seek veterinary care at the Client’s expense. Snoodlebugs is not liable for any health complications or death resulting from the pet's pre-existing conditions or the transport of the pet to a veterinary facility.
Local Emergency Pet Guardians: The Client must provide at least two (2) local, in-town Emergency Pet Guardians with home access. These contacts must be agreeable to assuming full responsibility for the pet’s care should an emergency or severe weather event prevent Snoodlebugs from reaching the home.
-VACCINATIONS & HEALTH WARRANTY-
Vaccination Requirements: For the safety of all pets in our care, Snoodlebugs requires all dogs to be up-to-date on Rabies and DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus) vaccinations. Cats must be up-to-date on FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) vaccinations.
Medical Waivers: If a pet is not vaccinated due to age or underlying health conditions, a written medical waiver from their veterinarian is required.
Verification: Proof of vaccinations or medical waivers must be provided prior to the start of service and can be uploaded via the Time to Pet Client Portal.
Parasite Prevention: All pets must be on an effective form of flea and tick control. If a flea or tick infestation is detected, Snoodlebugs will be unable to provide service until the infestation has been eliminated. This prevents cross-contamination and ensures the safety of all pets in our care.
Zoonotic & Contagious Disease: The Client confirms that their pet has no known zoonotic diseases (e.g., Ringworm, Sarcoptic Mange). If the Client becomes aware of any contagious illness, they must notify Snoodlebugs immediately and cancel scheduled services. Services may resume once the pet has been completely symptom-free for a period specified by their veterinarian, or upon receipt of a medical clearance note from the vet.
Health Changes: The Client agrees to update the pet's profile in the Time to Pet app regarding any significant health changes or new medications before the next visit.
-NEW CLIENT INITIAL CONSULTATION & ASSESSMENT-
Prior to any services being scheduled with Snoodlebugs, a complimentary, one-hour Initial Consultation & Assessment is required for all new Clients (excluding Client Coaching sessions). To ensure sufficient time for professional care plan development and to verify compatibility, this meeting must be scheduled at least 10 days prior to the start of the first service.
Profile Completion: A welcome email will be sent prior to the meeting to set up your profile in the Time to Pet app. The 'My Info' and 'Pets' tabs - including address, emergency pet guardians, and detailed care instructions - must be completed at least 3 business days prior to the consultation to allow for a thorough professional review.
The Evaluation: During the in-home evaluation, we will discuss your pet’s routines, personality, medical/sensory needs, and anxiety triggers. This time allows Snoodlebugs to observe your pet’s body language and comfort levels. We may introduce gentle enrichment, scent introduction, or a quiet stroll to allow your pet to acclimate to the sitter at their own pace.
Key Collection & Management: To ensure reliable access and specialized care, Snoodlebugs requires two (2) physical copies of your house keys at the time of the meeting. These keys are maintained under our Key-on-File program, with one set stored in a secure safe for emergency backup. Snoodlebugs does not utilize lockboxes.
Required Documentation: During this meeting, Snoodlebugs will verify that the digital 'Emergency Veterinary Treatment & Financial Authorization', along with the Terms of Service have been electronically signed within the Time to Pet portal.
Service Compatibility: This foundational meeting ensures that Snoodlebugs is the best fit for your pet’s specialized needs. Snoodlebugs reserves the right to decline service if it is determined that a pet’s needs exceed our scope of care or if the environment poses a safety risk.
-HOME ACCESS & KEY MANAGEMENT-
By booking services with Snoodlebugs, the Client grants express authorization for Snoodlebugs to enter the premises as required to perform the services outlined in the reservation. To ensure the safety and consistent routine of all pets in our care, Snoodlebugs requires a "Key-on-File" system for all service agreements.
Requirements: The Client must provide two (2) physical copies of the house key during the Initial Consultation & Assessment. One key will serve as the primary entry method, and the second will be securely stored in a locked safe as an emergency backup.
Security: Keys are stored without identifying names or addresses, using a secure coding system.
Exclusivity: Snoodlebugs does not utilize client-provided lockboxes or "hidden" keys. This ensures that access is never compromised by third parties (contractors, cleaners, or family) failing to return a key to its designated spot.
Access Failure: In the event that a key fails or the Client has changed locks without providing a new key, Snoodlebugs will immediately attempt to contact the Client and their designated Emergency Contact.
Liability & Locksmiths: If I am unable to enter your home due to a key or lock issue, I will wait for 15 minutes while attempting to contact you or one of your Emergency Pet Guardians. If after that time, I am still unable to gain access to the home, I will be forced to cancel the visit to maintain the schedule for my other pet clients and the full service fee will be forfeited. Snoodlebugs is not responsible for hiring or paying for locksmith services. Any costs associated with gaining entry to the home are the sole responsibility of the Client or their designated Emergency Pet Guardians.
Key Returns: Should you need keys returned outside of a regularly scheduled visit, a “Key Return Fee” based on travel time (minimum 30 minutes at the Standard Hourly Rate) applies.
-INDOOR CAMERAS AND PRIVACY-
Snoodlebugs acknowledges that many clients utilize indoor security cameras and "pet cams." For the safety and privacy of both the sitter and the pet, the following policies apply:
Disclosure: The Client must disclose the location of all internal cameras during the Initial Consultation.
Audio/Video Recording: While recording for security is permitted, the Client agrees not to use recordings of Snoodlebugs sessions for public broadcast, social media, or commercial use without express written consent.
Restricted Areas: Cameras are strictly prohibited in private areas such as bathrooms.
Focus of Care: The Client acknowledges that "Fear Free" techniques often involve slow movements, quiet moments, or specific sensory tools that may appear unconventional on camera. We encourage clients to discuss any questions regarding observed care directly with Snoodlebugs.
-HOME SECURITY & THIRD-PARTY ACCESS-
To ensure a safe and low-stress environment for all pets, Snoodlebugs requires full disclosure of any individuals expected to be on the property during scheduled service times (e.g., landscapers, house cleaners, friends, or family members).
Unexpected Presence: For the safety of the pet sitter and the security of the home, local authorities may be contacted if an unidentified or undisclosed person is encountered on the premises.
Exclusive Care Environment: Because Snoodlebugs specializes in care for pets with high anxiety or sensory challenges, it is strongly recommended that no other individuals be inside the home during a session to maintain the quiet, predictable routine the pet requires.
Property Securing: The Client agrees to properly secure all windows and doors prior to the start of each reservation. Snoodlebugs is not responsible for the security of the home or the safety of the pet if other individuals (contractors, neighbors, etc.) have access to the home during the service period.
Right to Vacate: Snoodlebugs reserves the right to leave the premises immediately if a sitter feels unsafe due to the presence of an undisclosed individual. In such cases, the visit will be cancelled and the service fee will be forfeited.
-LIABILITY & PROPERTY CARE-
Property Damage: Snoodlebugs shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to the Client’s property unless such damage is a direct result of willful negligence or misconduct by Snoodlebugs. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from a home break-in or the actions of a pet (such as urinating, defecating, digging, scratching, or chewing).
Pet Waste & Cleaning: Snoodlebugs will make every reasonable effort to clean up after a pet within the allotted service time. However, the Client is responsible for providing all necessary cleaning supplies (enzyme cleaners, paper towels, etc.) and designating their location. Snoodlebugs is not responsible for any stains or odors that may remain after a reasonable cleaning attempt has been made.
Home Maintenance: Snoodlebugs is not responsible for damage to the property caused by faulty utilities, plumbing issues, or structural defects existing within the home.
Household Emergencies & Crisis Protocol:
In the event of a sudden, critical household emergency while Snoodlebugs is on the premises (including, but not limited to: fire, structural collapse, severe flooding from burst pipes, gas leaks, or total utility failure), the immediate physical safety of your pet is our absolute priority.
-
Evacuation & Transport: Snoodlebugs is authorized to immediately evacuate the pet from the home. If necessary, the pet may be transported to a safe secondary location including one of the designated Emergency Pet Guardians home, a local veterinary hospital, or a professional boarding facility.
-
Notification Sequence: Once the pet is removed from the home and secured in the sitter’s vehicle, Snoodlebugs will immediately contact local emergency services (911) if required, followed immediately by the Client, and then the designated local Emergency Pet Guardian.
-
Transfer of Custody: If the home is rendered uninhabitable and the Client cannot be reached, the Client authorizes Snoodlebugs to immediately transfer care, custody, and control of the pet to the designated local Emergency Pet Guardian.
-
Financial & Property Liability: The Client assumes full financial responsibility for any emergency boarding, transport, or veterinary costs incurred during a household crisis. Snoodlebugs shall not be held liable for any structural, cosmetic, or property damage resulting from the household emergency itself, nor for any property damage that occurs during necessary, life-saving evacuation efforts.
-PET & HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES-
The Client is responsible for providing all necessary supplies required for the care of the pet and the maintenance of the home during the service period.
Required Items: This includes, but is not limited to: food, treats, medication, medical supplies, a secure harness/collar, a sturdy leash, litter, waste bags, and cleaning supplies (enzyme cleaners, paper towels, rags, vacuum, broom, etc.).
Equipment Safety: Snoodlebugs reserves the right to refuse the use of any equipment (e.g., frayed leashes, malfunctioning crates, or retractable leashes) that poses a safety risk to the pet or the sitter.
Emergency Purchases: If essential supplies run out during a reservation, Snoodlebugs will attempt to contact the Client. If the Client is unreachable, Snoodlebugs is authorized to purchase necessary items at the Client's expense.
Payment for Supplies: A $25 Trip Fee, plus the total cost of the purchased items, will be added to a supplemental invoice. The Client acknowledges and agrees that this invoice will be automatically charged to the credit card or payment method on file via AutoPay.
-PAYMENTS & BILLING-
Automatic Payments (AutoPay): To ensure personalized care and secure your reservation, a valid payment method must be maintained on file. The Client agrees to maintain a valid credit card, debit card, or ACH account within their Time to Pet profile.
Client Coaching Bookings: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Snoodlebugs will automatically charge the stored payment method within 24 hours after approval of requested service date(s).
Recurring Pet Care Bookings (2x Weekly Minimum): While a master invoice is generated to secure your ongoing dates on the calendar, billing is processed on a rolling weekly basis. AutoPay will automatically charge the stored payment method each week only for the upcoming week’s scheduled services.
Reservation Confirmation: Services are not considered fully confirmed until:
-
The Initial Consultation & Assessment has been completed (Required for Pet Care Bookings; waived for Client Coaching sessions).
-
Payment has been successfully processed relative to the booking type (paid in full for Client Coaching Bookings, or the upcoming week's payment processed for Recurring Pet Care Bookings). Due to limited availability and the specialized nature of our services, unconfirmed reservations may be released to other clients.
Accepted Payment Methods: Snoodlebugs accepts credit cards, debit cards, and ACH payments exclusively through the secure Client Portal. We do not accept checks, money orders, or peer-to-peer transfers (e.g., Venmo, Zelle, CashApp). Cash is accepted only as a gratuity for the sitter.
Failed Payments & Late Fees: If a stored payment method fails or is removed prior to scheduled services, the reservation will be subject to immediate cancellation. For any emergency services or unexpected stay extensions already rendered that remain unpaid, a late fee of $1.00 per day will be assessed beginning the day after the invoice was due.
Collections: If an invoice remains unpaid for 30 days, Snoodlebugs reserves the right to pursue legal action or transfer the debt to a third-party collection agency. The Client shall be responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees.
-HOLIDAY & PEAK PERIODS-
Surcharges: A holiday/peak period surcharge applies to specific dates throughout the year to account for high demand and are listed on the Snoodlebugs official website FAQ section. By booking services, the Client agrees to the surcharges associated with these designated periods as published at the time of reservation. Please note: Snoodlebugs follows the federal holiday schedule; if a holiday falls on a weekend, the surcharge will apply to the officially observed Friday or Monday.
Annual Winter Break: Snoodlebugs observes an annual winter break during the final two weeks of each calendar year, during which no services are provided. Specific closure dates are published on the FAQ page.
Holiday Cancellation Policy: Due to high demand and limited availability, all holiday and peak period bookings are subject to a stricter cancellation policy (as outlined in the CANCELLATION & REFUNDS section of this agreement).
-CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS-
Policy Rationale: Snoodlebugs maintains a firm cancellation policy. This accounts for the loss of income and the fact that other potential clients were turned away to secure your reservation.
Standard (Non-Holiday) Bookings:
-
15+ Days Notice: Full refund, minus a 5% administrative processing fee.
-
8–14 Days Notice: 50% refund.
-
0–7 Days Notice: No refund; 100% of the service fee is forfeited.
Holiday & Peak Period Bookings: Due to extreme demand, all holiday and peak period bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled with less than 20 days' notice.
Partial Cancellations & Early Returns: No refunds or credits will be issued for "early returns" or unused days once the service period has begun.
Client Illness/Emergency: While Snoodlebugs is empathetic to personal emergencies, the standard cancellation schedule applies to all visits regardless of the reason for cancellation.
-REIMBURSEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY EXPENSES-
Policy: While Clients are expected to provide all necessary supplies (food, medication, etc.) for their pet’s care, Snoodlebugs may occasionally incur third-party expenses on a Client’s behalf, such as emergency veterinary care or the replacement of essential supplies.
Communication: In the event such expenses are required, Snoodlebugs will make every reasonable attempt to contact the Client or their Emergency Pet Guardians to confirm a course of action. If the Client or Emergency Pet Guardians cannot be reached in a timely manner, Snoodlebugs is authorized to act in the pet’s best interest.
Reimbursement & Fees: The Client agrees to immediate reimbursement for all third-party costs. If Snoodlebugs pays a vendor directly, an invoice will be created and the Client’s stored payment method in Time to Pet will be charged for the total expense plus a 5% administrative fee to cover non-refundable credit card processing costs.
Direct Payment: To avoid the 5% administrative fee, Clients are encouraged to keep a credit card on file with their preferred local veterinarian and to pay other third-party vendors directly whenever possible.
-INCLEMENT WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE-
Snoodlebugs prioritizes the safety of both the pet and the sitter. While every effort will be made to reach the Client’s home, Snoodlebugs reserves the right to alter or cancel services due to severe weather, natural disasters, or other "Acts of God" (Force Majeure) that make travel unsafe or prohibited by local authorities.
Service Adjustments: During periods of extreme heat, heavy rain, or lightning, Snoodlebugs will utilize its professional discretion to modify sessions (e.g., substituting outdoor walks for indoor enrichment) to ensure the pet's safety and physical comfort. No refunds or discounts will be provided for sessions modified due to weather conditions.
Accessibility: The Client is responsible for ensuring that the property remains accessible during inclement weather (e.g., cleared walkways or driveways). Snoodlebugs is not liable for injury or service delays resulting from hazardous property conditions.
Daytime-Only Care & Emergency Backup: Snoodlebugs operates exclusively as a daytime weekday service with specific evening time slots reserved strictly for Client Coaching and Initial Consultations & Assessments. Snoodlebugs does not provide overnight, 24-hour or weekend care. If the Client is traveling and utilizing Snoodlebugs for daytime visits, a local Emergency Pet Guardian or secondary care provider (such as an overnight sitter) must be appointed.
Severe Weather Protocol: In the event of a hurricane or severe weather event where travel becomes unsafe or prohibited, one of the Client’s designated Emergency Pet Guardians is responsible for the pet’s primary safety and care. Snoodlebugs will resume daytime services only when travel is deemed safe and legal by local authorities. Snoodlebugs is not liable for the pet’s care during periods when travel is legally prohibited or physically impossible. In the event that Snoodlebugs must cancel services due to mandatory travel curfews or unsafe road conditions caused by a hurricane or other natural disaster, the Client will receive a full refund for the affected visits, minus a 5% administrative fee to cover the non-refundable credit card processing costs.
Property Liability: Snoodlebugs is not responsible for damage to the Client’s property caused by weather-related incidents (e.g., flooding, wind damage, or power outages) occurring during or between scheduled visits. Snoodlebugs is not liable for damage to the property caused by acts of nature or weather-related incidents during the service period.
-VETERINARY CARE & EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION-
Authorization to Treat: In the event of a pet medical emergency, Snoodlebugs is authorized to seek veterinary care from the Primary Veterinarian or Emergency Clinic listed in the Client’s profile. If these are unavailable, Snoodlebugs may seek care at the nearest available facility.
Emergency Assistance Rate: In the event that Snoodlebugs must transport a pet to a veterinary facility or remain with a pet during a medical crisis, the Client will be invoiced at the Standard Hourly Rate for all time spent in transit and at the clinic. This ensures Snoodlebugs can provide dedicated, one-on-one advocacy and monitoring for your pet until an emergency contact arrives.
Digital Veterinary Release: The Client is required to electronically sign a separate Emergency Veterinary Treatment & Financial Authorization document within the Time to Pet portal. This digital authorization serves as a direct legal release for veterinary staff regarding treatment limits and financial responsibility. Snoodlebugs will maintain access to this signed digital document via mobile device for presentation to veterinary staff as needed.
Financial Responsibility: The Client assumes full financial responsibility for all veterinary and medical expenses incurred. To ensure uninterrupted emergency care, the Client is strongly encouraged to maintain a valid payment method directly on file with their Primary Veterinarian and local emergency clinic. If no card is on file, the Client must remain immediately available via phone to authorize treatment and payment to the clinic. If Snoodlebugs must pay a veterinary clinic or vendor directly for emergency care or life-saving supplies, an invoice will be generated and the Client’s stored payment method in Time to Pet will be charged for immediate reimbursement, plus a 5% administrative fee.
Liability Waiver: Snoodlebugs is not liable for any complications, injury, or death resulting from the pet's pre-existing conditions, the transport of the pet to a clinic, or the medical treatment provided by veterinary professionals.
-COMMUNICATION & AVAILABILITY-
Reachability Requirement: To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, Snoodlebugs is unable to provide services to Clients who are not reachable by phone or who request not to be contacted during the duration of their service window.
Response Times: As Snoodlebugs is dedicated to one-on-one pet care throughout the day, response to all communications will occur as soon as reasonably possible.
Urgent vs. Non-Urgent:
-
Non-Urgent Matters: Inquiries regarding scheduling, billing, or general updates will be addressed during standard business hours.
-
Urgent Matters: For time-sensitive issues during the course of active services, Clients should call the business phone number. If unanswered, please leave a voicemail; Snoodlebugs will respond with the highest priority.
Professional Conduct: Successful pet care is built on a foundation of trust. Snoodlebugs requires honest, transparent, and respectful communication at all times. This includes timely updates via the Time to Pet app regarding any changes to the home environment, pet health, or household access.
-PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE-
Usage Rights: The Client agrees that Snoodlebugs may take photos or videos of their pet(s) during the course of providing services. These images are primarily used for private "Report Cards" sent directly to the Client via the Time to Pet app.
Marketing Consent: Public use of these images and the pet's name for marketing or promotional purposes is determined by the Public Media Consent toggle within each Pet Profile.
-
Full Consent (Yes): Snoodlebugs may share photos, videos, and the pet’s name on social media or the Snoodlebugs website.
-
Private Only (No): Snoodlebugs will only use images for private communication with the Client; no public posting will occur.
Privacy Protections: Regardless of consent level, Snoodlebugs will never include a Client’s full name, home address, or identifiable landmarks (such as house numbers) in any public post.
Revocation: The Client may update their consent status at any time by modifying the Public Media Consent field in the Client Portal under the Pet’s Profile.
-EMERGENCY PET GUARDIANS & BACKUP CARE-
Authorization to Transfer Care: If the Client is unable or unwilling to resume custody, care, and control of their pet during or after a reservation, and/or Snoodlebugs is unable or unwilling to complete or extend a reservation (due to emergency, safety, or scheduling constraints), the Client authorizes Snoodlebugs to transfer care, custody, and control of the pet(s) to any of the individuals listed as Emergency Pet Guardians in the Time to Pet profile.
Guardian Consent: The Client certifies that all individuals listed have been informed of their designation as Emergency Pet Guardians and have agreed to accept responsibility for the pet(s) if called upon.
Alternative Placement: If all listed Emergency Pet Guardians are unreachable, unable, or unwilling to accept custody of the pet, the Client authorizes Snoodlebugs to place the pet in a professional kennel or boarding facility at the Client’s expense.
Inclement Weather: For traveling clients, please see the Inclement Weather section of our FAQ regarding the mandatory nature of local emergency contacts during hurricane season.
-PET ABANDONMENT & EXTENDED CARE-
Commitment to Care: Snoodlebugs is committed to the safety of your pet. If a Client fails to resume care on the agreed-upon date, I will continue to provide services to the best of my ability while exhausting all efforts to reach the Client and their designated Emergency Pet Guardians.
Abandonment Timeline: If no communication or payment for extended services is received within 10 days of the scheduled return date, the pet will be considered legally "Abandoned" under the guidelines of Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 705.19), and formal ownership transition protocols will be initiated.
Transfer of Care and Safe Placement: In the event of abandonment, Snoodlebugs will prioritize the pet's emotional and physical well-being. Rather than immediate surrender to a municipal county shelter, I will actively pursue the following specialized placement steps:
-
Attempting to Contact Guardians: I will first attempt to place the pet directly with a designated family member or one of your pre-authorized Emergency Pet Guardians.
-
Snoodlebugs Extended Sanctuary Care: If no family members or guardians are willing or able to take over care, or if doing so would jeopardize the pet's health or emotional state, Snoodlebugs reserves the right to retain the pet under my personal, long-term foster care. This ensures their specialized medical, sensory, and anxiety needs continue to be met seamlessly in a familiar environment.
-
Rescue Placement as a Last Resort: If I am unable to personally sustain long-term care, I will bypass traditional open-admission shelters and coordinate exclusively with a private, foster-based senior or special needs rescue or a "no-kill" sanctuary.
Legal & Financial Responsibility: The Client remains legally responsible for all accumulated service fees, extended care costs, veterinary expenses, and any costs related to the professional care, transition, or safe placement of the pet.
-LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION-
General Liability: Unless caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Snoodlebugs, the Client releases the sitter from all liability related to:
-
Third-Party Breaches: Any breach of security by a third party (e.g., burglary, criminal trespass, or unauthorized entry by other service providers) resulting in loss or damage to property or pets.
-
Unsupervised Mishaps: Any injury or mishap that befalls a pet while they are unsupervised in the home or yard outside of the scheduled service hour.
Acts of Nature: Damages beyond the control of Snoodlebugs, such as those caused by the elements, severe weather, or natural disasters.
Emergency Transport: Any injury or expense related to transporting a pet to/from a veterinary clinic or emergency facility.
Pet Misconduct: The Client is responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the pet sitter, other animals, or property caused by the Client’s pet.
Reporting Timeline: Snoodlebugs is not liable for any damages or issues reported 24 hours or more after a reservation period has concluded.
Limitation of Damages: The maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the sum of the total service fees paid to Snoodlebugs for the reservation in question. The Client waives any right to special, punitive, or circumstantial damages.
